Momence, IL– FutureCeuticals, Inc. announces that Dr. Boris Nemzer has been appointed to a 3-year adjunct professor position in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
As part of this appointment, Dr. Nemzer will interact with the University’s faculty and students on joint projects and on various research topics related to food, health, and wellness. Dr. Nemzer will also deliver seminars and lectures, serve on faculty and graduate student committees, and co-mentor and co-direct Ph.D. students’ research.

Dr. Nemzer earned his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry/Chemical Physics in Russia in 1986. He is the author or co-author of over 55 published academic articles, and is a reviewer for the American Journal of Biomedical Sciences, the Journal of Antioxidants, the Journal of Food Studies, the African Journal of Biotechnology, the Journal of Plant Foods and Human Nutrition, the Current Medicinal Chemistry, and the Journal of Agricultural Science and Technology, Food and Function. He is also a member of the editorial board of the American Journal of Bio Medical Sciences, and is affiliated with more than a dozen associations, including the American Chemical Society, the American Association of Cereal Chemists (Co-chair of bioactive compounds committee and physico-chemical properties committee), the Institute of Food Technologists, and the Association of Analytical Communities.
